MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – July 24, 2019 – Today Pearl Abyss announced that Black Desert on PlayStation®4 (PS4) will be in Beta testing from Aug. 9-13, in preparation for launch on Aug. 22, 2019. The Beta is available to play without a PlayStation®Plus subscription, and all participants that sign up for the Beta will receive an exclusive Sky Hawk pet at launch, allowing players to loot items, increase Knowledge Gain Chance and find rare monsters. As a free download, players are invited to join the adventure to become their true selves. Black Desert is available for pre-order with Standard ($29.99 USD), Deluxe ($49.99 USD) and Ultimate ($99.99 USD) Editions, which offers various in-game rewards.

For Adventurers playing Black Desert on Xbox One, a new free content update is now available, allowing the Ninja to Awaken true skills and abilities. In addition, three new world bosses – Karanda, Quint and Maraka – now offer powerful loot and the Capotia Accessories equipment deliver increased attack damage.
