Pearl Abyss officially announced at the online global user event “Calphe:ON Ball” that Black Desert Online will start self-publishing in North America and Europe. 

During the Calphe:ON Ball, the roadmap for the first half of 2021 was revealed, and various programs such as user events and Developer Keyword Talks were held. The self-publishing plan for Black Desert Online in North America and Europe was also announced, with global users being the first to be informed. 

Pearl Abyss has already been providing stable service by increasing user benefits and quality content through self-publishing in Korea, Russia, and Japan. 

“We would like to express our gratitude to Kakao Games, who has made the best efforts for Black Desert Online for 5 years since the start of the service. We will do our best to communicate with our Adventurers and provide stable service in North America and Europe,” said Kwonho Kim, the Lead Executive of Black Desert. 

All employees at Pearl Abyss will do their best to communicate with users in North America and Europe promptly to provide them with a new gaming experience and environment. 

Pearl Abyss will begin self-publishing on February 24, 2021, and the transfer sign-ups will be available starting from January 27, 2021.
