MANHATTAN BEACH, CALIF., - APRIL 6, 2022 – Today, Pearl Abyss announced Black Desert Online has officially launched its new expansion, Eternal Winter, along with the new class Drakania.

The long-awaited Mountain of Eternal Winter is a new region covered in heavy snowfall, featuring a breathtaking view of the winter mountain. Throughout their journey, players will meet new allies and rivals, explore brand-new hunting grounds and embark on a host of activities, including new boss fights, ice fishing and more.

Together with the expansion launch, the game also launched the new Drakania class, a female class that’s a descendant of the legendary dragon that wields a Slayer and Shard. With the new class launch, players can now start playing the game collectively with the Eternal Winter expansion. The new class will further elevate the story of Black Desert, while giving players the option to start the new region using the new class from level 1.

With the Eternal Winter expansion launch, existing players will be able to download the expansion as a free update, and new players will have an opportunity to play the game via the complimentary Traveler Edition.

The Traveler Edition is a new offering for Black Desert Online that grants players access to the game, along with the Eternal Winter expansion, via the official website and Steam. This offer starts today and continues throughout April 13.

Furthermore, Black Desert Online has brought a new season with the new class Drakania. With the new season, this will be a great opportunity for players to grow their character and acquire various seasonal rewards once they complete a set mission.
